SpiriTrust Lutheran is now hiring a Full-Time Director of Life Enrichment for The Village at Sprenkle Drive in York, PA! This position is responsible for Skilled Care, Assisted Living, and Personal Care on our campus.

Basic Qualifications

Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field is highly preferred. A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a social, recreational, or therapeutic activities program OR current Life Enrichment Director certification or Therapeutic Recreation Specialist certification required. Supervisory experience is desired!

Current CPR certification required (or obtain within 30 days of hire).

Skill(s): Speak and understand English; proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communication skills; knowledge of the social, psychological, and recreational needs of the aging; valid driver’s license; may need a CDL in some programs.

Essential Duties

• Provides oversight for the planning and implementation of Life Enrichment programs at the Community.
• Attend training to build understanding and capacity to undertake QAPI work.
• Carry out QAPI roles and responsibilities as assigned.
• Effectively manages the Life Enrichment budget.
• Collects community data and tracks community outcomes.
• Support educational initiatives to promote wellness as a lifestyle choice.
• Assume the job duties of Volunteer Coordinator.
